2008 FIM/UAM Asia Cup round-2 Held on 6th and 7th of Sept, 2008 at the Coloane Karting Circuit. Although the weather was extremely hot but all the races were completed smoothly and successfully under the intense competition. This event is divided into 2 days, first day is for practice and qualify and second day is for pre-final and final. The FIM/UAM Asia Cup attracted 17 riders from 9 different countries including China, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Host Federation Macau. They all used the same model of Yamaha 100cc Automatic Scooters and were sponsored by Yamaha Company Limited. The event attracted a lot of spectators and the races are very excited. AMC holds the motorcycle event included 6 different races are Mini Bike, 125cc Motorcycle, 125cc Automatic Scooter, 100/150cc Motorcycle, 125/180cc Motorcycle and 50/70cc Scooter. Although the results of these races are not counted into this year’s championship point system but the riders still strive for success participation hoping to obtain the good results. The awarding ceremony is holding right after all the races and the whole event was finished at 4:15p.m. |
